Simonsig Estate has triumphed at the 2010 Veritas awards with a hat trick of double gold awards, including the only two double gold medals awarded for Méthode Cap Classique this year.

Simonsig’s Cap Classique double gold glory is shared by the flagship Cuvée Royale 2005 Blanc de Blanc and the 2006 vintage of the illustrious Kaapse Vonkel – the country’s first French-inspired, bottle fermented sparkling wine produced by the late Frans Malan almost 40 years ago.

The 3rd Simonsig Veritas double gold medal was awarded to The SMV Shiraz/Mourvèdre/Viognier 2008 – a delicious Shiraz-driven red blend.

The two Veritas gold medals went to the ever popular unwooded Simonsig Chenin Blanc 2010 and the highly acclaimed Simonsig Red Hill Pinotage 2008.
