In search of Turkey’s delight!

When one thinks of Turkey, wine isn’t something that immediately springs to mind, and yet Turkey is home to between 600 and1200 indigenous wine grape varieties. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the country’s first president, established Turkey’s first commercial winery in 1925.

Our journey starts and ends in Istanbul, and includes Gallipoli, Troy, Izmir, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Cappadocia and Ankara. This will give us enough time not only to see and experience this wonderful country, but also to taste it, in a manner of speaking.

As usual, we’ll be keeping in touch via social media. Oh yes, and don’t expect us back and in action before 29 April.

Tjorts!
